Refereeing Rules for Cadets  and Children U15, U 13 and U 11

Cadets U 18 – Competition rules do not differ from the current IJF/EJU Refereeing rules

Children U 15

. Duration of Golden score contest – 1 minute

. Referee shall not award any score in situations when one or both contestants apply or attempt to apply throwing  technigues  in all variants by simultaneous falling on own knee/knees having used the weight of own body to drive the opponent onto  the Tatami, like Seoi-otoshi.

. Competitors can apply full Kumikata without any restrictions

. Referee shall announce technical Ippon in cases when one of competitors applies effective  Kansetsu- waza even before the opponents´arm is fully stretched

. Application of Kansetsu waza in Tachi -waza and in entry into Ne -waza is forbidden

Children U 13

– The weigh category for MU13: 27 kg,  30 kg, 34 kg, 38 kg, 42 kg, 46 kg, 50 kg, 60 kg, +60 kg,

• Application of Kansetsu waza and Shime waza is forbidden Competitors can apply full Kumikata without any restrictions
• Penalty Shido is given to any contestant who applies or tries to apply any kind of Bear hug
• Penalty Shido is given to any contestant who applies or tries to apply any kind of Cross grip
• The referee shall announce only Mate in following cases:
• when one or both contestants apply or attempt to apply throwing   technigues  in all variant by simultaneous falling on own knee/knees having used the weight of own body to drive the opponent onto  the Tatami, like Seoi-otoshi
• when one or both contestants apply or attempt to apply throwing  technigues starting with the grasping of  the opponent head around, like Kubi-nage without attempt to perform Goshi-waza  but technique like

Sutemi-waza

when one or both contestants apply or attempt to apply throwing Technigues like Soto- maki -komi, Hane- maki -komi

when one or both contestants apply or attempt to apply throwing technigues like Ura- nage, Yoko-otoshi, Sukui-nage, Sumi-gaeshi, Kata-Guruma

when one or both contestants apply or attempt to apply throwing technigues Sutemi-waza without full control of the opponent /throwing the opponent away  or spinned around/ If not stipulated  above, the referee shall  in the first  attemt of  negative behavior  award  only verbal warning,in  the second time he awards penalty Shido.

All cases of negative judo,  inactivity and other prohibited acts stated in Refereeing rules are penalized directly,without prior verbal warning.

Application of throwing  technigues like Sutemi-waza and entry into Ne-waza are allowed.

Application of  throwing  technique Tomoe-nage is allowed.

Referee shall  award in all cases of  negative behavior verbal warning only.
